Man vs Wife - By Ashish Srivastava

Rating: 5/5

Short Review: Quirky, Light-Hearted Read!

Detailed Review:
I still can't control laughing while writing this review! No matter how serious things are with our protagonist, Mr. Singh, your smile won't leave until you stop reading and try and understand the gravity of the situation.

First-time author, touchy subject - I was a bit skeptical at first. But as a monthly commitment to myself, to try at least one unknown author, what a gem I found! And that's why I never give up on reading unknown authors. I love to stumble upon such stuff and fall off laughing (or end up crying till sleep takes over me, but I'm more biased towards laughing - Personal choice).

As for the book - Well, Any married person would be intrigued to pick up such a title and dig in to see if, still, every home has the same story or not. And so was I. I was hooked right from the start, with the description of the 'man'/wife/marriage in a legal tone. This book is basically a Man vs Wife from Man's perspective (majorly) so I'm not sure how the 'better-half' of this world will take it. But if taken in a sporting spirit (well, we all have our flaws, if you know what I mean), it's a total entertainer and worth the read. Totally loved the quirky language and the light-hearted humor.
